It is cool watching this and seeing how accurate WolfQuest Anniversary Edition Saga is as a game based on Yellowstone & Yellowstone Wolves. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

I love WolfQuest, the dev's have put so much into the game since 2008. I love how insanely accurate and educational it is.

Perfect timing since 2025 is the 30th anniversary of the reintroduction into Yellowstone. My favorite wolf will always be 21 🐺

We've heard of the heartbreak syndrome in humans, I think 21 of heartbreak syndrome and that is why he went up to the top of that mountain where they always would be seen together or should I say it the way the documentary person said it they wouldn't hang out they would be there a lot together so I'm thinking, that maybe he went up there because that was one of their favorite places to chill. And he would see her sooner up there
@PhillipNeumeier4 күн бұрын
@ I remember that from the documentary. Plus I’ve read it in many books. I highly recommend The Reign Of Wolf 21 by Rick McIntyre.

The video is truly captivating! The life of a wild wolf pack is captured vividly and realistically, from the way they hunt to the bond within the pack. Thank you Nat Geo for bringing us beautiful footage to better understand these magical animals! 🐺🌿

Wow! The story of Wolf 21 and Wolf ’06 truly moved me! Especially how Wolf 21 fulfilled his role as a leader with strength yet compassion, sparing defeated rivals, and the image of Wolf ’06 being so strong and independent but ultimately facing such a heartbreaking fate. I think reintroducing wolves not only restores ecological balance but also helps humans reconnect with the profound values of wild nature. However, the challenges, like wolves leaving the park and facing hunting threats, are significant. What do you think? Does reintroducing wolves bring long-term benefits, or is it just a temporary solution? And what do you think we should do to balance human interests with the survival of wolves?

I have read Rick McIntyre's "Rise of wolf 8" and I am half way through "Reign of wolf 21". I would highly recommend his books to anyone that wants to see into the life of wolves. The way Rick can describe the behaviors and STORIES of these animals is such a talent. I cannot express enough how enjoyable they have been to read and I cannot wait to get to his other books!

I have considered wolves to be my spirit animals since I was a small child. In 2002 I went to the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota to learn more about these wonderful creatures. At that time there were hardly any wolves here in Germany (by the End of 2023 we had a total of 209 confirmed packs, 46 pairs and 19 territorial individuals living throughout Germany). I stayed there for 2 weeks and, among other things, did Night hikes with the teachers and trips with the radio to look for the free-living packs. Unfortunately we didn't see any of them, but we howled with them at night. It was a wonderful experience that I can still remember today as if it were yesterday. I was even godmother to the black lead wolf MacKenzie for several years until she died in 2008. I hope to retire in March 2025 and then finally take a trip to Yellowstone. Thank you for the interesting movie.

Yellowstone’s wolves embody resilience, teamwork, and the raw beauty of nature. They remind us of what it means to adapt and persevere. A story of survival that’s not just theirs-but ours to learn from. 🌲🐺 0:03

the beginning was like punch in stomach seeing all those beings created by God/Universe/Quantum call it what ever you want, just killed by human cruelty of “fearful babies as this is what most of human are just little fearful mad babies with guns”, tho the closing quote by the gentleman that protect those amazing beings gave me hope that some humans become adults thus can counterbalance “ the cruel little babies “

I love wolves! They are beautiful and mysterious and a true gift to this world. I wish there were more documentaries about them without the sad parts. We don't need to see them bloodied and dying -- it serves no purpose. The world needs human population management, not animal population management.
