A very enjoyable watch... some great weather if a little too cold for my old bones..lol. That's a cracking route you did of the Blacks. I wonder did you see the boundary stones on the 1st part of your walk - thought you might have come across them - they offer a great view down into the Grywne Fechan. Off to have a look at your images.. nice one regards Alan

Thanks Alan, we probably did see the boundaries but never mentioned or took note, thank you for the support ! Despite the cold and fog, when the weather cleared it was just breathtaking, but with the fog it definitely gave a surreal vibe much like in Arun Faddwy, I would highly recommend a watch of that video !

Great video. I did the dragons back and Waun Fach 2 days ago. I’ve walked over the central Brecon Beacons many times but not so much this area. Stunning scenery and you had perfect skies for it 👍

I think it’s always these not so well known popular places that surprises the most ! We are planning trips for the known ones in the future but as long as I keep finding these gems I think they’ll come first 😅, thanks for the support !

I thought you'd be getting your hat off Hoof at some point. Yeah, it might be cold but you still work up a sweat. Re-mountains, technically across the world a mountain is anything above 600 meters. The Black mountains of course rise to 811 meters at Wain Fach. They're mountains that are bulbous and broad - big lumps. Great to hear your thoughts on the range and its beauty. Yeah, it's my local range and I agree - it is spectacular bog holes and all. Well, great drone shots - no doubt you'll be warmer on the ground next time. All the best. Mark

I did indeed 😅, but the cold air never let out ! Kept going off and on ! I shall remember the mountain specs from now on I think, I always want to call it mountains … anything that makes us sweat on the way up 😅, maybe I’ll just name them HoofHills 😂

@@HoofHike Yeah, that wind can cool you down no matter what - so back on with the head gear. They're mountains in the sense that they are super broad let alone over 600 meters. I've always known them as such.
