It should be enough to follow the route twice to get 999 clovers. Also I will mention that the holes spawn randomly, but either way these are the exact locations where they have a chance to spawn. How many holes did you find using this route? Let me know!

Didn't notice this in Australia but after a few weeks of them adding the digging sites I definitely noticed that the same effect can also be found in the Chinese Forest :D Makes me wonder if all maps have this same pattern..
