I think I get it! At least, my theory! Shiro is trying to make something evil, and needs the money! The Crimson Clan caught whiff of it and set of to kill Shiro, then Okami found Shiro, and Okami, not knowing either side’s plans tried to heal Shiro, then Spike’s dad, not educating Okami about both sides, proceeded to chase Okami, who hit her head on the rock. I think Spike’s father removed the clothes to get rid of scent trails then he yeeted Okami into the water, who then woke up on dr. Simon’s island. Some time later Shiro is plotting revenge... Even tho it’s maybe maybe not his fault Shiro was attacked in the first place.
