I also think mixing in mono is benefical not just becuase it translates to any system almost but becuase its easier to hear the ratios/balance between the elements in my opinion

Yes, it is lot easier, when it is in stereo, the side infos can trick you a bit

Hey, when you use pink noise, do you use it after you put effects (reverb) on the channels or before when the Signals are dry?

Some people say before but I do it after putting the effects because lot of times we increase/decrease the volume of the sound with those plugins

I watched this video in headphones and to my ears the pink noise absolutely bodies every other sound. Is this normal? The pink noise is only on to mix the other elements am I correct? It flattens the sound?
