To be honest I think this will be one of wilder last matches I think. If wilder doesn’t want ruin his reputation and wants to keep on boxing then he won’t challenge him; he’ll go the long way round back to the champion fight but if he’s interested in retirement then he’ll challenge fury and go out in a bang.

People have short memories and follow a narrative generally. Fury talks a good fight and is the best promoted boxer in the division. It's still a 50/50 fight. I tend to lean to Wilder this time despite his limitations but other than a quick Fury win there's no outcome that'll shock me.

@Four Teen the cut isn't irrelevant in the slightest. Wilder's game plan will probably be similar to the Ortiz fight. Which means he will be patient and look for the right. This will probably lull Fury and he will be caught with more of Wilder's jabs that way. Which will open up that cut, but Fury might stay switched on and not get caught with very many Wilder jabs, but I doubt it.It all depends on Fury. If he can stay disciplined and focused all 12 rounds. The only ways I see him winning is if it's on points, or if he makes Wilder quit by constantly tagging him and not getting tagged.

AJ, however, is neither as powerful a puncher as Wilder nor as wily a ring fox as Fury; he might be too clever for Wilder, which might allow him an opportunity to spark him out, but AJ would likely lose to Fury by UD in the same way that Klitschko lost to Fury. Wilder being the puncher he is, and Fury the fox that he is, it could just be that AJ loses to both.

DanDK to say it will “ruin” the fight is biased af in fury’s favor. It’s a part of boxing. It’s a part of being an athlete. Athletes have injuries that come back to them and cause them disadvantages, all the time. Cant say a game was ruined cuz someone got injured that’s weak af. It happens. If it opens up it means that wilder found an advantage, and will likely expose it. If not, fury will have full eye sight and they will fight, both having full vision.

I watched an interview with Pauline Malinaggi, and he makes a valid point in that he doesn't think Wilder will make any adjustments because he feels he won the fight and as such he will just try and do what he always does which is give away rounds and pin all his hopes on his power ending the fight which in fairness he has done up until the Fury fight. But Fury has looked to round out his game so that could be the deciding factor who knows, there is that Wilder right hand though....
