I played the tank of the party and got saved of a deathly blow by a magic splinter that had stuck to my finger months before and turned into a shield. Awesome game.

My favourite character in a previous run ended up with no eyes - one was lost to a trap, and the other was replaced with a magical gem.

I got this game almost a month ago with the Black Friday/Thanksgiving deals but haven't played it yet. I watched the trailers for it and thought it was a really cool game. Have you ever tried King of Dragon Pass or Six Ages, both strategy games where you control the leaders of a clan over generations, set in Glorantha, the world where the pen and paper RPG classic is set? I think you'd like them, the real fun of them is the stories along the way rather than the strategic objectives.

It's a shame the game is exclusive to the most abusive storefront in the gaming industry. I'd rather see Epic exclusivity than companies locking their games behind a platform which has known it's causing medical harm to customers since 2019. It doesn't help that with over 2 years to fix the problem, Valve has only made things worse by blocking users from access to the only reliable and safe workaround that existed. If you ever have a choice between Steam and not-Steam, always go for the lesser of the two evils. EDIT: Now it's on Epic too, and there's a launch discount... good times.
