Jeez Joe!! I love your positive, laid back, take it as it comes attitude. One of the toughest guys I know. A stone cold killer.

Congrats! Great work. It was cool seeing your gear and setup more and you just sharing personal experience with the gear or weather conditions. Great opportunity to learn from. Loved the jerky idea and I'll definitely be using the freeze dried meal water bag trick sometime. I was actually scheming this year on making some kind of travois stick drag cart to carry meat or my pack for the pack out. Never ended up needing it though the deer just died on the top of the mountain instead of the bottom like they normally seem to do.

Hey I watched like 5 of your videos last night. Trying to figure out how you keep from getting frostbite when your shoes are frozen, I would like to know what kind of socks you use as well as your sleeping bag that you were able to crawl in while damp and not freeze to death.... thanks. I shot one mt lion in my life and the taxidermist shop lost it....I have pretty much given up on being able to get another cat beyond dumb luck but your videos have inspired me to try.
