V says, ' sorry, but we don't have one at the moment!'. Elephant looks disappointed and says, " Well, I'll just have a couple of leaves from this old tree, then, and be on my way ... Enjoy your stay!' V looks at you and says, ' What just happened??!' 😅 Very much looking forward to next week, dear LTE, but I didn't think this could be topped!! 😃

@luxurytravelexpert3 ай бұрын
Or you can combine both countries into one trip (it's very easy getting from Namibia to Botswana). Wilderness has lodges in both countries and can assist with the logistics. Namibia is more about (desert) landscapes while Botswana is more about wildlife.
@nathalier26083 ай бұрын
@@luxurytravelexpert Yes we could. I think we are going to do our 2 weeks in Namibia with Wilderness, desert and Etosha. Then we will do Botswana, I think. 😀 Could you please let me know which month you went to Botswana? Thank you.
@luxurytravelexpert3 ай бұрын
The best period to travel in Namibia and Botswana is the Southern African winter (June to September) when the weather is dry and sunny. If you are going to travel to Botswana after Namibia, you may as well skip Etosha National Park (since wildlife spotting in Botswana is superior to Namibia). You can always contact me by email for more information or advice.

What a beautiful lodge . It would be amazing to stay there if you had the money , but that exact same experience is available for a fraction of the cost . Namibia and South Africa are as beautiful and you can rent a car drive to etosha national park or drive down the caprivi strip and be surrounded by elephants on the road. Or go to any park in either country and Lions are right beside your vehicle ,which are easily seen by renting a car on your own . Many hotels are $100-200/night. Who cares where you sleep ….. don’t think it’s unattainable to see the EXACT SAME THING ON A BUDGET. I’ve done it 3 times for cheap and I’m from Canada ….. drove around for 6 weeks . Just not at a 5 star hotel/ tent experience. In fact , likely 2 nights there was what I spent in a month. If you haven’t been there , you probably think after seeing this video you could NEVER DO IT , definitely NOT TRUE . Botswana can also be seen on a budget .
