Hello there and happy holidays. I feel like they weee used for everything from hunting, food prep, tool and shelter building to defending themselves against other tribes and animals. They were surly used for trading also. They shaped and made different games to play, art and even pleasure. Just about every aspect of life needed stone in one way or another. Take care buddy.
