Singer Sromona Chakraborty at 'Subah Savere', a show which used to air on Doordarshan Channel back in 2002. She sings the song 'Zindagi Ke Safar Me Guzar Jate Hain Jo Makam' from the movie Aap Ki Kasam. She was also part of the Calcutta youth choir. She says her mother is a big inspiration and compares her to the banyan tree.

Recently my wife Dr.Meenakshi Bhattacharjee started her singing talents,for your information she did her BA in music when she was a 10th grade student but my both father in law and mother in law are both music lovers.when he used to come for lunch and both would sit together with their son..my brother in law who being Doctor now also joined the parents to sing..and he was a table player and the entire family would practice singing joining my mother in law would sing for about 45 min and when after my father in law would have to return to office.Anyway,my wife decided to practice and sing popular Bengali & Hindi songs Your voice is heavenly and is a gift from Mata swaraswati..we think.
