Kolmarden will build Europe's first Rocky Mountain Construction wooden roller coaster in 2016. At over 4,000 feet of track, 187 feet tall, 12 airtime hills and 3 inversions, they claim this will be the world's BEST wooden roller coaster! I know we are VERY excited!

Different coaster, but same technique and materials. The production shots are demonstrative-I'm sure they'll create new videos with current shots once production actually starts. Looks like they're still just in the planning phase of things now.

Sara Karim They spend all the budget on the intro movie... Kolmarden's WildFire coaster project has been indefinitely delayed due to the local government canceling the building permit and requiring a more detailed plan. Several groups have filed complaints against it due to ride's location next to the existing zoo and nature reserve areas.

This still will not beat Goliath that will open at Six Flags Great America. Goliath drops at an 85 degree angle. Wildfire drops at an 83 degree angle. Wildfire goes 71 mph. Goliath goes at 72 mph. Wildfire drops at about 165 feet. Goliath will drop at 180feet feet... Goliath still rules!!!

Well, you didnt know what makes an awesome coaster. Its the Heartline, the Airtime, The Elements of the Track. Goliath is higher but doesnt have the Feelings of Wildfire. For Example, Blue Fire in the Europa Park doesnt go as hight or as Fast like Coasters in the Us, but it has a better Ride experiance than a lot of other higher and faster coasters. BTW my English sucks dicks so dont Blame me. ( my Mother Languages are Hawai'i or German)

The line is reference to the fact that Kolmarden is mainly a zoo. It's been adding a few amusements here and there (with Wildfire being the largest upcoming addition), but it's a zoo first and an amusement park second.

Gröna Lund theme park in Stockholm is 126 years old, Liseberg theme park in Gothenburg is 91 years old, Kolmården is 49 years old.
