Very similar requirements for your direct sowing- just watch out for frost. Use row cover. What’s your zone?

Get a large bag of miracle grow potting soil, lay flat and cut off the top of the bag - place in a location convenient to water such as your patio where they get the warmth - partial shade/sun - put your seeds in, water, cover with plastic wrap. I make a tent by placing a few plastic drinking cups upside down. When they germinate remove wrap and keep soil moist. When large enough - you can use a spoon to scoop out.

How much seeds do I plant in a 4 inch small pot?

For a 4 inch pot, you really only want one plant to grow so you can plant a few seeds and then you can thin them down.
