This is the time of year I turn into the Snot Queen. Allergies are the Worst! Thanks for powering through & making a great video anyway. The mushrooms were very cool. Couldn't see the underside of them, but from the top, they look like oyster mushrooms.

I had no idea turpentine had an organic form and came from trees, I always thought it was a petroleum product. Glad you found some decent bottles. :-)

Turpentine was a famous Naval Store from the 16th Century on. Some pine forests were claimed as property of the Royal Navy.

Hey Kyle, back for the attack. That Expectorant probably glows under a UV light making it pre 1910. I just got a Wm. Rikers of New York expectorant bottle. Looks like a good spot. Just need to find the older stuff. Milk of Magnesia.

cool dump and bottles on the creek. the food and drug act of 1906 ended many of those miracle cures. some of those bottles may have been dumped soon after. Depending on where you are, you can get machine made bottles early and blown bottles late. but always cool to see local medicine bottle. great video

(Sorry for the duplicate comment) I would 100% buy a big bag of those dugong bones that yall normally leave behind in other videos. Maybe even mammoth tooth chunks.. I make rings and could incorporate the ones with a large diameter. If it works how I plan then I'll make you a ring as payment or pay $. Commented on paleocris video asking the same thing lol.

Hey Kyle! I wish you could come check out my backyard here in McIntosh County, GA. I cant get back there anymore, but I found a spherical concrete something buried in the ground in the woods. It's so wet & juicy and you're still getting allergies? I grew up ,California where it could get dry & windy, and I had some allergies. That metal rod going into a block seems like a band of a wooden water tank. They were common in the West 100 YAG. I dug a 1941 Oakland Cal. Coke the other day. About 3 years ago dug a Simmons Liver Regulator from Macon Ga, in downtown Honolulu. Phillip's Milk of Magnesia. Nice fun little impromptu bottle hunt.
@WILDKYLE3 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah my allergies actually tend to get worse when it rains oddly enough! Something about the pollen spores breaking up as the rain hits them. Not fun 😭
@tomfrazier11033 жыл бұрын
@@WILDKYLE I'm not sure if the humidity out here makes us hypo allergenic or not. I haven't had my allergies in years. As a kid they were talked about often. Sometimes people "Grow out" of allergies. I have taken a few chances in my digging career, and have done a few stupid things, but have always respected Gravity, and basic mining technique. Maybe I've gotten "Used" to what allergies I have & pay them no mind. Don't stick your finger in a common polish jar to pull it out of the side wall. That cost me my fingerprint on my left pointer finger!. I do always carry a first aid kit, and carried on digging that rich downtown dump with explicitly dated stuff from 1879-1915. 10+ Hutchs, my first Hayn medecine. Honolulu burned hard in 1887 and 1900. Accounting for a lot of that, now a Lowe's & parking.
