Get another iPhone and backup everything on it. Plus keep a lanyard for iphone so that it never loses. Keep a checklist whenever u start the ride, check the checklist before moving forward

Just having regular iCloud backups should be sufficient. When you lose your iPhone , You can easily restore everything including passwords and bookmarks.

Abrar, first of all i say " Alhamdulillah" that you got your mobile back. I know what would be the difficulty you will come across if you lose your mobile phone. Most of us all banking datas are stored in their phone itself. I was also one among the loser. In remote area, where language is a barrier, you lost the phone. I can't digest myself. I prayed to Allah to ease your diffculty. Really Dhushanbe people are very kind hearted, 3 of them helped you and the JCP driver who was waiting for you. This is called good humanity. Lesson is: Never rely on just google account ... keep at least 2 account, and the account fixed on your mobile phone shouldn't hold any other password (bank etc ...) all of your bank accounts & other important account should be on some other Google email / drive .. (and recover of that google email account shouldn't depend upon the google account fixed with your mobile phone. If that phone is lost .. you should in minimum time .. open other google account & and change all password immediately ... & then also change password of Google Account (if you can do before any damage). I think with that the damage will be minimized ...

This reminds me of my trip to Paris back in 1995 when I forgot my bag in the shuttle to the Airport, it had my passport and funds. I went back to the bus depot and the shuttle showed up, bus driver kept my bag with him. Oh what a relief it was to find my bag, anyways Please be safe and this should be lesson learn for you. One tip bro, Make a list of some 50~60 essential words which are used in travel like hotel, water, tea, food, petrol, workshop, city, village etc in the local language of each visiting country. It will help a lot in rural areas , where English is not understandable.
