Abrar Bhai, when you look for halal food in China, you can try ‘Lanzhou Lamian’ (兰州拉面) 🍜. This food chain is mostly halal and can be found almost everywhere in China. You can enjoy their pulled noodles or fried rice, which are my favorites! Also, the Chinese words ‘清真’ mean halal. If you see this sign on a shop, it means the food there is halal.

Glad you were able to cross with minimal wait - you mentioned about border line up. Back between 2006 - 2012 I used to cross US - Canada border every weekend back & forth due a family illness in Vancouver BC- Border line up becomes testy some times - once I had to wait in line (in a car) for three hours in to get back to Washington State USA. But because of my dual citizenship I didn't have to jump the same hoops as you had to do it here - Good luck rest of the trip - Regards from San Francisco
