This is an excellent presentation! I have a very short attention span but I was interestd all the way through. Roie's enthusiasm for the topic is contageous. I generally only shoot spiders but the advice (scaled down) really holds true.

Amazing pictures, and an excellent and very helpful video. Sadly,for most people is very difficult to reach those places which for me are the key for those amazing pictures. Of course, you also need to have a great technique , knowledge, patient and the help from others is always a plus. Thank you for the video. I am going to suscribe to your channel and instagram to watch your wonderful work.

people talk about gear upgrade syndrome like its a personal thing a photographer has but clients ask what gear you have and wont hire you unless you have the newest camera because they believe you need it and that old cameras cant take quality pictures.. they are what drives it, not the photographers themselves.. if you know what youre doing you know what your gear can do.. most photographers dont.. they just have lots of money and buy the newest gear and clients dont know anything about photography so they just want to see the newest gear because it makes them feel more high status.. and if you show up with a 40d and blow everyone out of the water everyone will hate you and try to black ball you from the industry.. thats not a joke.. it literally happened to me..

Great Show, very inspiring ... however, I think I would probably go for wildlife in places with milder climates, i am just as Softie!

I see you chasing herds of animals with your drone which looks great butt I question what kind of damage you are doing to these animals.

Such a bad quality for a video by B&H who literally have the best equipments... Content is good, but image and audio were sub-optimal

Just because he has more opportunities than other regular people to go many places and take many pictures of a big variety of wildlife, it does not make an impressive picture. Most of the pictures are mediocre, which all are lack of the story telling, or eye catchy factors.

Somewhat surprised on your map of places, no Galapagos ? Its a photographers dream....Not for you ?
@RoieGalitzLive4 жыл бұрын
well, for me it's something that I'll do someday. it's very easy to get photos there, and many people do that. I prefer to focus in other places for the meantime :)

As soon as he mentioned "global climate change" and humans are to blame with carbon pollution and all that, when the planet is based on carbon, CO2 is the "Green Gas of Gaia," without which we all die, I stopped watching. He should take some time and photograph the "greening" of the planet d/t a very minimal increase in atmospheric CO2 since the industrial revolution.
