WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY - Bird photography in Sweden Year 2024. Part 2. Four month - May to August

Here is a summary of what I did in 2024. It will be in three parts with four months each. The film is in chronological order with minimal talking. It has been an eventful year with some sold film clips for other people's productions. I myself am saving a lot of material that I intend to make a feature film about. Unfortunately I cannot show these clips here.
I have used a Nikon Z9 with mainly a 400mm f/2.8 and a 180-600 Nikon lens.
GoPro 10 and 11
a Panasonic film camera
various microphones and a handy zoom and remote controll

Absolutely beautiful, makes me sad to see how things could be, if we weren't destroying nature everywhere, here in Germany. We recently had two black-throated loons at a relatively small lake where I live. After a couple of weeks, some idiot thought it was a good idea to fly circles with a small helicopter over the lake where all the migrating birds were resting. After diving to avoid the disturbance for a couple of minutes, they took off and never came back. Got some decent shots though, and now I really want to go to Scandinavia and get some shots of them in breeding plumage, such beautiful and fascinating birds. 😁

Thank you for your kind comment. 🙏🙏😀😀. It's really a shame to disturb them like that. People should have more respect for all animals. Yes, the loons are truly mysterious. I've been filming them since 2013 and one has become so tame that I can feed it with small fish. Once I didn't have any fish and then it jumped up and bit my arm when I was lying down and taking pictures. 🥲

@@Halmstadfoto Vi har hökuggla stationär väster om Sala i 2 månader nu. Ytterligare 2 rapporter på Artportalen i närheten av Sala. Jag har några bra bilder på ugglan men det är lika roligt att besöka platsen men " hopp om en ännu trevligare bild"
