Join Lone Pine’s ‘Wildlife Scientist’ program and explore early level classification using body coverings. 🐸👀🔍
Students will work to identify a variety of external features of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles. 🐦🦘🐍🐸 At the end of each lesson, students will meet a Lone Pine animal friend and find out all about how their body covering and other adaptations help them survive.
In this session we explore the special body covering of reptiles: scales! Scientists in training will be challenged to see if they can guess a series of mystery animals just by having a close-up look at their scales. 👀
After the close-up challenge, students will meet a special animal friend with some special scales.
