There would be a outside water connection to the plant somewhere. And if they closed the plant down they would open it up so that over time the water could normalize - but the bacteria live on for quite a while and give off methane when they 'breathe'. The process used in a plant like that is the same process nature would take, just a lot faster.

Per TECQ guide lines, all waste shall be removed and disposed of according to TECQ and EPA standards. These ponds have been for the most part rendered waste free, the odor your smelling would be a residual odor and that of decaying plant matter and animals that fall in and drown. It much the same as any stagnet cattle pond or flood pond found all over our area. You have the same chance of getting a bacterial infection from the San Jacinto, Trinity, Breas or Buffalo bayous.

If the outfit makes you angry, you're outing yourself as the the type of mark I knew would make this video successful. For everyone saying the water is perfectly fine, there's loads of factors you're probably not considering: chemical containers have spilled into the water, the water is especially stagnant in several areas here, proper decommissioning procedures are often not followed (my dad was the safety director for BASF, believe me, they lie all the time), this place has been underwater multiple times and there are chemical plants and garbage dumps nearby (that's in this water now), BACTERIA is not a "toxin" but they can continue to produce them and bacteria grows in abundance in these types of places, fish are not humans and can survive perfectly well being exposed to things that would make you or I very sick because.... we're different animals (can't believeI have to point that one out), etc. Third, I don't care about anyone's non professional medical opinion as I have an actual doctor. Lastly... seriously, come on guys. You know I largely put on the suit to get you talking 🤣🤣🤣🤑🤑🤑🤑
