As a MAGA American, from what I can tell speaking to Gen Z liberal young adults, the sticking point is the economy. I had a coworker recently tell me (and have heard the same from others) "I never would have voted for Trump, but the economy is so bad, I don't have a choice." The older Gen Z in the workforce, from what I can tell, got out into the workforce and can't afford to pay their bills, and all of a sudden, they regret their decision at the polls before.
