Ive heard queen anne's lace root isnt good the second year, because all the nutrients have been depleted and are sent to the bloom. Better to eat the first year young. Greetings from Marshall, Ar.

Can you recommend a good field guide to Ozark botany ? Something that would identify and explain preparation in use for Ozark wild Municipal purposes

No unfortunately. I have not had the best luck with learning plants from books. Reach out to someone in your area that can teach you. By far, the better way to go.

Yarrow (I BELIEVE/ not sure on this one) by the scientific name is achillia, and it's an antiseptic
