It is ridiculous what happened in Wildwood and Ocean City this weekend, this country is in terrible shape. The lack of parenting and lack of consequences is absolutely atrocious.

Here in seaside heights, we were filled with very disturbing teenagers, the entire Jersey shore is in terrible shape when I comes to teenagers.

It happened this weekend in Virginia Beach as well but not necessarily the Oceanfront. Two teenagers were shot at a carnival that was at one of our city parks. One of the teenagers died. This was after fighting broke out at the carnival.

@@gregggoss2210 they had to declare a state of emergency on the boardwalk last night because they had problems with a large group of teens but wildwood was the only place that problems I’m hearing there was a stabbing in Ocean City Nj last night

There already is a curfew law. That’s probably what triggered the shut down, too many teens out after curfew.

There are curfews for teens in north wildwood I think it’s 11 and in wildwood and in the crest it’s 1 am

It was nobody that lives here , all Shoobies . Have to put up with shoobie animals all summer long . People that are born and live here are together , people not from here don't know and should worry about thier own home

Miss the sound of the life guard whistle but two best sounds down at the Wildwoods are " Watch the tram car please " and ocean sounds. Runner ups are the retired Fudgy Wudgy guy screaming his thing while selling cold treats on the North Wildwood beaches and years ago across from the o!d McDonald's yelling " Pumping out the prizes ". Guy on the dunk tank had some great shouts.

That kite festival brought back memories for me. Thirty years ago, 1994, some guy with a stunt kite on the beach was bombing walkers on the boardwalk with his kite, nearly missing their heads. Could you imagine somebody doing that today? But then again, there were no gangs of out-of-control kids on the boardwalk like nowadays.

Your in for a surprise shoobie , being born and living here is s lot different than vacation. Once your here good bye beach , board walk and other shoobie crap. Next it's time to get out of wildwood and move off shore because summer to you will become a nightmare. You will learn to love winter time. Best bet keep wildwood the vacation fantasy it's made out to be.

The #1 problem weekend of the year for Wildwood and now Ocean City is Memorial Day Weekend. It was always bad for unruly teens but it has gotten progressively worse! The main issue are the boardwalks on those weekends; therefore, they should explore the idea of just shutting all boardwalks down by 7 pm while daylight still. That alone will discourage large groups of teens from even wanting to flood the shore for that weekend. Majority of people with little kids are up there earlier anyways so really a 7 pm boardwalk shutdown and clear out will impact the teens the most. Parents don’t wanna parent anymore and most are in denial about their sweet teenagers and have the “my kid is better than that” or “not my kid” mentality, so unfortunately people in authority need to take charge and set fully enforced early shut down times to discourage the groups of A holes…10 PM is wayyy too late, 7 PM at latest - EVERYONE off boardwalk. Again the crowd/pedestrian traffic will lighten.

@@rightaspah215b4 I was gonna say that in my original comment…everything comes down to money so that’s the option they have to weigh is the money more important or the negative press, along with the likelihood of a major incident. Not sure of numbers but how much money is being spent up there by teenagers at 9 pm and after? They are all just looking to hang out and act up, not really spend money on the water gun game and ring toss

Literally... after I had to deal with that and the backpack ban that went into effect and ruining it for everybody... I ended up vowing never to return to Wildwood, NJ any longer.

The backpack ban was mostly for teenagers and young adults. Other adults didn’t have a problem.

Wow i never rhiught I'd say this because i love the channel but the cute videos with your wife and your mom are gone and this has become just a business. Yes we get entertainment about a olace we love and even news. But between your commercials and almost an e- begging beginning to the video it get harder to watch.

I completely understand what you mean but In all fairness, it cost a ton of money to put these videos together. For example this video took over 8 hours to film, 3 hours to edit and an hour to upload. I do 2 videos a week so it’s about 24 hours of work. (Plus I do them with my wife) I have to get paid for those 24 hours. KZbin ads don’t pay much so it has to come from somewhere.
