Located at 3900 Atlantic Ave in Wildwood, New Jersey, The Vibes Hotel is a boutique hotel that combines a Doo-Wop style design with modern amenities.
On Tuesday, June 25th, the hotel held its grand opening, attended by many city officials. The Wildwood Video Archive received an exclusive preview a few days before to provide a first look inside the new hotel.

I stayed at Binns in the late 90’s and it was a nice place. Then it went south rapidly. I am glad to see a rebirth of the whole thing.

I like the room with the king size bed. I have back issues but would prefer the standard height beds. Looks awesome and comfy. I hope it is sound proof from the street noise.

I was at the Bonito last year in August. It was the worst experience. The smell, the look, the comfort, nothing was right. I'm glad there's been a change.

Thanks Joey, I'm glad to learn about The Vibes. It's painful to see the vintage places go when you're a WW old-timer who's been visiting every year since the mid-50s (minus the pandemic, returning this August) but I recognize that the Binns and the Bonito were probably too far gone to renovate. They'd been looking kinda scary for many years. Faithful seasonal visitors like myself have to be grateful any time the Wildwoods get a new hotel/motel; condos are not in the spirit of the place.

I think they're clean looking. Where are the dressers for your clothes? Not everything gets hung up. The tables are kind of small for the amount of people who can stay in the room.

As a wheelchair user, I would never be able to make that handicap room work! My chair wouldn’t fit between the bottom of the bed and the microwave/refrigerator furniture piece!!

We're is the diving board, a pool is useless without a diving board, like the Atacha motel does have. I think that they have the only diving board in the Wildwood's if I'm not mistaken, THAT SOUNDS LIKE A POSSIBLE VIDEO IDEA FOR YOU, a diving board, now that's DOUWAPP!!!😂
