Biking The Entire Wildwoods

For a while now, you all have been asking for a biking tour of the Wildwoods. Today Julia, my wife, and I deiced to do just that.
Starting in North Wildwood we make our way to Two Mile Landing before hitting Sunset Lake and heading back to 1st street in North Wildwood.
All together it was 12 miles!!!!

That was a great video! I got to see a lot of areas that I don’t normally get to see when we’re on vacation there! We go in my brothers van and once we get it parked he doesn’t like to move it because it’s hard to get a parking spot. So are usually stuck in the one area so my husband and I decided next time we come we are driving ourselves. That way we can drive to other restaurants that are further away that we normally don’t get to go to! Thanks again for the great video! 🚴🚴‍♀️

I love WWC. Been going since I was a kid. Continue to do so with my kids. Was supposed to celebrate my 50th down there July 3rd but had to cancel b/c of Covid-19. Wife works in health care in the Bronx and they won't allow full vacations yet. I guess I'll make up for it next year!!! I did find the music pretty funny with the speed up pedaling. It was like a skit from The Benny Hill Show. Lol. Keep the videos coming. Love them

Just an FYI the island is over 7 miles long. Turtle Gut Inlet, once located in the vicinity of Toledo Avenue in today's Wildwood Crest , was at one time the division between Five Mile Beach to the north and Two Mile Beach to the south. Filled in by the county in 1922

My heart sank (and my stomach churned) when I saw the Bayview had been razed. While the Bayview may not be any great loss, I remember the place from when it was the original Mariner Inn restaurant. We ate there quite often during the years it existed and always had very good dinners there. To see that the actual building has been added to the list of Wildwood demolitions is sickening. But I suppose it'll never end.

Biking in Wildwood, and particularly on the boardwalk, is my absolute favorite thing to do. Thanks for this very entertaining video. I just subscribed and look forward to exploring your channel. I live in PA and have visited Wildwood every year for 53 years! This year is in question but at the very least I’ll get a day trip in. And I’ll be bringing my bike!

Biking down there always depends on the wind! About 15 or so years ago, I actually rode a bike from Diamond Beach up to Ocean City and back. Going wasn't bad, but coming back was sheer torture because I had like a 15 mph headwind all the way! I'll never forget that experience!

You rode past the Big Blue Sightseer on Park Blvd. Why not do a video on the Sightseer and Captain Schumann? The Sightseer has been in operation for over 60 years and has great history. It would be a great video to see Captain Schumann and the Big Blue Sightseer cruising through Otten's Harbor and the back bays into the ocean and learn about the Sightseer history.

This reminds me of when I was a kid. My best friend and biked from our houses in Sicklerville ( near Williamstown ) to Deptford Mall going the back way ( 621) past the Lakeland complex ( juvie hall ) in Blackwood, to Almonession Road past Red Lobster. That was quite the trip considering we were riding regular 1 speed bmx bikes. Ah, to be young again.

Any news on how the public maintained precautions on either the boardwalk or beach? And how are the restaurants doing with outdoor seating?

Hi. For 22 years I worked for the traffic division of the Police Dept. and I think I should tell you that riding a bike on the sidewalk is illegal and you can be fined $50. I'm in Pa but you should check your laws so you don't get a fine.

We went down Atlantic Ave to the end and made a right onto Pacific Avenue, then went back to sunset lake and biked down Park Blvd. (that’s the simple way of explaining it)

Great place to come to rides,food. But the places here to stay lack the good prices along with these made up taxes.. for the price you stay here you can stay in Florida... Try cape May because certain times you can stay there for the same price you pay in the wildwoods!!
