YouTube Poop - The Land of Drug Influence!

The first time I saw this drug education animated video from D.A.R.E. was when I was in sixth grade (and it's definitely made me NOT want to take any drugs shown in the video), and I never saw it in English again until very recently, when it was finally unearthed on KZbin. Looking back, it's SO BIZARRE. You'd swear the production team used drugs in the making of this cartoon. So of course, it made for some great KZbin Poop material, where I can make it even MORE bizarrre! "The D.A.R.E. Report: The Land of Decisions and Choices" © 1993 D.A.R.E.; FAIR USE!

I remember that DARE video, I think I was in 5th grade when I saw it. Nice youtube poop of it. I remember thinking that it looked like the artstyle of the Simpsons, though looking at it now I still kinda see why I thought so, but I can see that it's different in some ways. It was a pretty well animated little thing looking back on it, quick rubbery animation and the funny ways they depicted anthropomorphic depictions of drugs was entertaining.

Same for me. I first saw this YTP on my Fire Stick, and it took me about a minute to realize how I remember seeing this, as the characters supposedly have the same designs as those in the booklets provided in that program, which featured a flip book animation of that chihuahua. I'm just glad I didn't have to sit though that Cartoon All-Stars crossover that a clip was inevitably featured in this!

@@SaraHouck461 Yep, I still have the workbook with that flip animation of the puppy. It features a bunch of additional characters not seen in this video, and in addition to the Simpsons/Klasky-Csupo -esque art style, a few characters have a "Hey Arnold"-esque look to them.

Looks like Matt Groening teamed up DARE to make this cartoon. I know it wasn’t made by him but it just looks like it was made by the Simpsons crew

That's because quite a few "Simpsons" artists did indeed work on this. Directors Michael Polcino and Tricia Garcia are both "Simpsons" veterans, too.

Oh geez, THIS thing. I remember they showed this video in third grade. I'm kinda curious about the artists that worked on it, however, as it has that 90s feel to it. (I checked some of the crew out. Seems some of them DID work on The Simpsons, which would explain the art style.)

I saw this vid in D.A.R.E. too! Awesome job pooping this! It really is a drug trip! I know the animation was done by the same guys who did The Simpsons. Though who are the voice actors on this? The kids sound familiar.

Tommy was voiced by Pamela Segal, hence referencing Bobby Hill and Pajama Sam. The other boy was voiced by the late Dana Hill, hence the Max Goof reference.

@@ZakWolf Its sad that Dana Hill died from a Diabetic stroke, she was in Duckman. Pamela Aldon is one of the best voice actresses who can do little kid voices. Dana Hill was Audrey number 1 in National Lampoon's Vacation which is the best movie in my books.
