Will 27.5" wheels fit on a 26" mountain bike?? (khs dj 100)

I’ve got a 26’ cotic bfe frame, which fits up to 29’ wheels with ease, so I bought 27.5 160mm travel forks and built 2 27.5 wheels for it. Best bike I’ve ever rode!

27.5 might be my favorite wheel size I put them on a beach cruiser and it rides great might try and add gears to it next

When bigger wheels fit it makes the ride super nimble. I put 26er on a 24 inch not too long ago and it made for an awesome ride

I was thinking of doing that with my 24" haro ... how did you get the breaks to reach??

@yardsalecycles got lucky and it had disc break mounts, was the green and black Haro mtb I built up awhile back. I think you can make cantilever style work if you have a post mount frame

Love the hair flick at the start! First impression won my heart hahaa😂👊 However, I was searching for something else I want to fit a 26 inch tube on a 27.5 inch rim. Just because I have two brand-new 26inch tubes and want to ride my racer lol

I would say yes it should work.. you are going to stretch the tube over the rim but other then that there should be no issue

Always worth a try I've been able to fir 27.5 on a few different 26" frames .

What about the fork bottoming out and hitting the wheel?

The top of the fork crown was hi enough so even if I bottom out I will be ok .... might have an issue on a different fork or wider tires

Fork cant bottom out and hit wheel.. The fork travels up with the wheel as 1 unit, if the wheel fits then no issues..

Most parts should be able to fit . The biggest issue might be the brakes, especially if they are rim brakes. As long as the BB thread is the same, it should be no problem, and check the bearing size on the headset

@@yardsalecycles i used disc brake on my 26....i wish it will fit and only a lil things needed to be changed

@armanharith13 also noticed that the 26" will lower the cranks so the peadles might hit more often
