I honestly wish i knew about this and really paid attention. I had Sisterlocks for 8 years and I cut them because I couldn't find anyone in my state. I had a baby, and postpartum hit, and I just didn't believe anything wasn't going to grow back. Like you said LEAVE IT ALONE. I ended up doing the Sisterlock class and thinking so many things, but fast forward, I installed Sisterlock back in my hair, and now I'm just letting it grow. My hair grows extremly fast. i don't think i can do knotted locs. By 5-6 week i have about 1 -1 1/2 new growth. I do have 2 clients who like to get their Sisterlocks done every 3 months, and I didn't understand why, and I would get mad, but Thank you, Melissa; know I understand. Side bar: I didn't realize I'd been falling you for that 8 year.

Hello. I have at least a year more before I convert my sisterlocks to knotted locs. My hair tends to grow out of my loc. Does this mean when I get knotted locs I will be creating more locs?
