@DjNikGnashers Жыл бұрын
To be technically correct, it's a Haldex system, which is FWD until the front wheels start to lose traction, then it transfers some power to the rears. In normal driving it's basically FWD. Haldex AWD is not actually ‘proper’ all-wheel drive. AWD systems refer to drivetrains in which all 4 wheels are permanently driven. Due to loss of traction etc, these systems may apportion additional torque to wheels with more traction, sometimes even up to 100% of the torque, leaving certain wheels temporarily un-driven, but their standard setup drives all wheels of the vehicle. For that reason, Haldex is not all-wheel drive, but is instead four-wheel drive (4WD). As Haldex is based on transverse-mounted FWD systems, the default setup for Haldex AWD drives the front wheels only. When wheel-slippage is detected, the Haldex computer systems redirect torque to the rear wheels to compensate for the loss of traction at the front. Upon launching a Haldex-equipped vehicle, power will generally be directed rear-wards for additional grip, however under regular driving circumstances, Haldex equipped vehicles will operate as front-wheel drive only.

You cannot see that from a simple film. Scratches or other damage is not visible through a fisheye lens. The footage is filtered, same as faces and skin that are really soft. Now I got a s3 in a great healthy condition. And payed a good price because it has also almost 250k on it... but it's all about how the car were treated and maintained. I am missing captions with acceleration times. What's the point of showing 0-100 acceleration with Dragy and not publish the time? 100-200 time is published only in a table where some results are without link to the video so one can't be sure what car was measured. Sorry guys, your content and cars showed on this channel are unique, but to put all the effort to record, measure, edit and upload the video and not add simple captions or Dragy screen capture into it is beyond my understanding. It's also a thing of promotion of Dragy to show the measurement in more detailed way. My Dragy is from your shop too btw.

I would take such an older car over ANY computer on wheels made after ~2014. All of the vehicles of today provide the option to shut your vehicle off if you for example speak something that the entity which has access to utilize that option doesn't like.. That's just one thing. As a matter of fact I did. I sold my 2018 A4 TDI Quattro and bought a 2008 Volvo C30. I still bought too much of a new car because the 2008 C30 has the sabotagued-maintenance thing, that is, in order to be able to work on 100% of the car, an external hardware kit is required. The car has the readings of all of its everything all in itself, but no, the car is practically not mine because of how dependand ultimately I may be on Volvo reading the car's computer for me, instead of the readings just being on display to me in the car.
