If it is misused, yes, it can absolutely kill "creativity" as far as financially incentivised human-made original creative works. It will, if misused, cause mass starvation, poverty, homelessness, civil unrest and even neofeudal oppression in the form of a sweeping culture where a tiny portion of society owns everything and everyone else owns nothing. This is not an absolute certainty, and can be averted if used properly - but as AI is currently being used, this is the world and consequence towards which we as a species are barreling, even cheering for in some cases.
