To take a car from "junk to jewel" in other words from a #5 to a #1 car requires a lot of hard tedious work. It IS a "labor of love." It also very expensive. At times, it will cross over into the 6 figure range for a complete resto. GYC makes it happen. Great job team. Mopar or no car!

For me, I totaled my 2003 F-150 one night as I was heading to work. The other driver may have been injured, but at the time made no mention to me. I got the insurance check and made my last payment(I only owed the last payment). Then I wanted a full size 4wd truck to drive the harsh Michigan winters. Well you were looking at upwards of $35K. Then it hits me, I have the opportunity to get any vehicle I want. The insurance was a good down-payment. So then I wanted a "new" muscle car. So I looked at the Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang. I wanted the one which had the strongest V6. My friend at work owned a Mustang and paid cash for it. So I looked at the Mustang for about a minute. Then I looked at the Challenger, strong runner. When I looked at the Camaro, it had a 312hp V6. The other two didn't, it was more like 305hp, or similar. So I went with the Camaro. When I went to the dealer, I told my salesman I wanted to test drive the V6 Camaro with a manual. We did. I was impressed. I said what I wanted and they didn't have what I wanted. He tells me that he could order one, but they only get so many orders in a month. He checks, and they were able to put in orders still for the month. So I said let's do it. It was written up I signed the papers, they took my down payment. It took three months. Took another week to ship. I got it, and was never happier with a car, except my uncle's 72 Nova two door. That had a 307 V8. It was fun. I've gotten so many tickets with my Camaro, I've lost count I think it is about 8-10. Still happy. I'm sure the Challenger would have been fun.

I watched this show when it first came out. I believe this show and others has driven the price of cars through the roof. I had a many cars in my youth and even lived on a classic salvage yard.. I could get a 70 dart for $400 back in the day and now they want $4,000 for a rolling chase. I have a drag car now. And have been looking for a 53 3800 to pull my fifth wheel and drag car trailer. Unrestored $4,999 calling them rat rods. I'm just looking to save money from buying a 2021 1 1/2 ton.

virgil exner built those imperials and spared NO EXPENSE they were touted as the safest car ever built, i have a fair condition running 62 survivor, and old and worn it is still that beautiful, i cannot afford to restore it, but i wont sell it, nobody can appreciate it, not the way i do, it is a new mexico car, not really rusted out, but the trunk floor is soft and so are the rear panels, you never could get those rear windshields not to leak, i cannot afford a garage, and i hate to see it rotting like it is, but there are so many wankers in this world, i dont want to get ripped off by some jackass, so it can just sit there

Usually it works the opposite. When the parents are alcoholics the kids want nothing to do with it. When the parents are sober the kids are alcoholics or druggies. Basically you see what the future looks like for you if you make the same mistakes and plan accordingly. My parents are sober but my Uncles and Aunts are alcoholics, I seen what asses they make of themselves and chose to not follow in their foot steps. Alcohol is fun when you are young and do it socially but when you get old and need it to function its pathetic and no one wants to around you.
