@@Ncloud age is moreso how you age. Yes taking care of yourself is good but 40 is still 40. Most fighters or competitive athletes are usually past their prime after 34, it's an irrefutable fact! Bertabeiv is predominantly a "pressure boxer". His style requires him to have exceptional stamina, conditioning, and toughness, these attributes naturally decline with age. If Bertabeiv can't significantly hurt Bivol early and keep him hurt, I don't see his 40 year old legs (post knee injury) being able to outbox him after 12. I could be wrong but I'm just trying to be logical

Therefore, after David beat Angulo, the WBC installed him as the #1 LHW contender since 170 is officially LHW division - guess who was the WBC champion in August 2020? Answer: Artur Beterbiev. So David's promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz petitioned Mauricio Sulaiman to REINSTATE David in the 168lb rankings instead of being #1 wbc contender for Artur's WBC belt. The WBC agreed and granted their petition and David went on to fight Ronald Ellis in March 2021 and Kyrone Davis in Nov. 2021 That's why Canelo had to fight Yildirim (who was rightfully the WBC mandatory at the time) in Feb. 2021. So no, David had not "been" at 168 while Artur was at 175, bc in Aug. 2020, David was officially campaigning at LHW - then he decided not to take #1 WBC LHW status .... Beterbiev-Bivol isnt on PPV and we know Sampson/PBC is going to try to make that a PPV, but the issue with that is David doesn't have leverage over any of those guys, so that won't happen, which means that this fight won't ever happen.
