The battery has to be reversed post,I had the same thing on a Nissan truck. My friend has a Powerwagon,it runs,it's solid and a beast.

Yeah because the truck is canadian made,so an american made battery would be offset post,you flip it around the post may not reach,so reversed post,in this case it may not matter since it has long cables. Also they used 2 positive cable,both have bigger clamps,so one will not tighten since the negative post is smaller.@@hondamanvtec2894

My '46 Dodge WJA-58 is a positive ground too. Been sat since 1974 on some cattle farm so there's a bit of work to do on it yet.
