I recently stumbled upon your channel. This is some great work you're doing. I stand between 5'6"-5'8" And recently I've really began to feel inadequate about my height. No words describe how awkward I felt when I used to go the gym standing around guys much taller than me, And there few things more emasculating than seeing a girl taller than me. For all my life I've been told it's not something I can change and that I would just have to accept it. But here I finally found a way to change it. The procedure at the moment is far too costly for me, so it will probably be a few years before I can get it. I'm 19 right now, so I guess I'll hope that I'll get a last minute growth spurt but that seems unlikely. I want to get the STRYDER, but before I want to learn everything I can about it, I've only told one other person that I'm considering this surgery, and she tried very hard to talk me out of it, but failed to convince me when she said she wanted to get a breast reduction to help herself feel more like a man (She's a trans male). Like if she wants to get surgery to help herself feel more like a man, than why can't I do the same? Anyway keep up the good work man. I will gain al the information on this operation that I can.
@Cyborg4Life Жыл бұрын
Thanks appreciate the kind words. Yeah I understand. I'm not one to promote the surgery but I do present the facts and I can tell you that over 90% of stature lengthening patients do not regret their investment into the procedure and come out more resilient from the process.
@iant.9938 Жыл бұрын
I wish you the best in your journey with this. I know you said you go to the gym, but really, focus on getting as physically fit as possible. The fuller and more muscular your frame (especially with your lats, neck, shoulders, and waist size) the taller you will look. If you're not already, do something high-impact on your tibias, like running. It may stimulate last-minute growth. But more than anything, focus on becoming your best self with your genetics first. And also just keep in mind your proportions with LL. Good luck with it man.

Insurance will never cover this, since there are already ways to deal with your height from a psychological perspective. You have to not care about your height--some shorter guys have no trouble with that, while others might need extensive therapy. The bottom line is it's possible, though it's more difficult for some guys. It's a whole lot less trouble than this surgery, too.
