I found the tech tree is weird that people know how to build a ore sorter but yet don't know how to store the ore. As fluid storage and unit storage have been moved away from "storage" tech node, maybe it's time to delete this node and put loose storage together with ore sorter.

@@DennisF19 A bit diferrent of an issue. Semantically it doesn't make sense, because glassworking involves meltibg glass afaik. But balance wise, you can trade for glass using construction 3 using quick trade, so early on vehicle 2s are more expensive than later on

Huge map, excellent playthrough, would be nice to see rotary excavators in the game for dirt/rock, also service trucks for maintenance of broken trucks/factories when broken. Very much enjoyed the stream.

I recently started this starting place but with all the difficulty settings turned all the way up. It may be easier after the latest update, but for my start you end up needing to get the trade dock and take a loan to have the materials to get your production set up, very tough but doable. Going to be trading away a lot of trees, with a trail of storages and pipeline on the way to tree planting research for sustainability and lots of pausing things such as farms when they're out of water where you need to un-pause every 10 days or so for a day to have the crops not disappear until you can get enough farms up and running.

Any plans to add bulldozers into the game? It only makes sense and would make life easer to flatten the soil dumped from stackers and such. It would also add in depth into the tech tree and game choices.

sorry if this is a stupid question or if it was answered elswere but is it planed to change the excavating in the future? i have always a problem. i build a wall who is 2 tiles wide then i need to excavate somthing the excavate tool is 4 wide and you cant excavate to the wall becous the space is 2 tiles who nedet to be excavatet and the tool is 4 wide so you cant only way is to destry the wall and everithing you have build excavate then build everithing new

Apparently there is a way to force the game to let you mark a tile with a wall in it for digging. JD Plays has done it a few times in his videos; I'm sure a google might show you what the command is. Assuming, of course, that they haven't removed the "feature". Personally, I consider it part of the game and it requires planning with your digging. You could also use two walls if you're digging on both sides, and then destroy one of the walls. That does leave a messy slope against the wall, but it's an option. If you're building several layers deep, requiring several tiers of walls, now we have the vertical conveyors that can fit in that space to help shorten conveyor trips.

After playing the new map most of the way through the tech tree, I am going to restart without ore sorting. I get the concept, I know how it works but it leads to micromanaging mining on a level that is no longer entertaining. Not sure how to make it better but it needs some tweaking before I will use it again
