I am a t1 fan, but that's not true lol. It was essentially lpl vs t1. A lot of the really good lck players move to the lpl since they think it's a good region for example ruler. It's very rare for a top LPL player to move to the lck rather they stay in their own region.

Zeus cemented himself as the best top laner in the world and ended the streak of under performing in the finals. Oner was arguably the best performing player over the course of the whole tournament, where as domestically he looked like their weakest link. Faker lifts his 4th trophy, giving the first one to his teammates and only further cementing his legacy as the goat. Gumayushi lived up to his promised and demolished Ruler, but also dominated the entire LPL. Keria got his revenge for last year, was the best support in the world and became the literal meta at worlds. GG T1

tbh I would say Faker was easily the best mid lane at the tournament, yes his Ahri was a bit iffy, but all the other series and his Akali game 3 were insane. His Azir ult onto Ruler whilst JDG were likely going to win the match from that position will go on to be one of the most iconic league players ever.

Tbh, Zeus's run is the most dominant top performance we have ever seen. He didn't go through any western top in knockout rounds, it was all LPL tops and all of them were highly rated by pros and analysts. He destroyed all of them. To think that what all leads to this moment is Faker's wrist injury. He played back earlier than the given date that he's supposed to heal because his team is losing so much that they're in the brink of not making the lck playoffs and the points required to make it to Worlds is still inefficient. And no, they're not winning even before he got his injury. They even lost 0-2 to the bottom lck team. That's why when he came back, they're forced to win. They're forced to expand their drafting to their comfort rather than meta. Man what a journey.

Faker is such a GOD he predicted and planned all of that. He knew that the sacrifice last year had to be made so that everyone can win, because he knew that even if DRX wins or loses, they will disband the following season and that there is no other way and that is the ONLY way. And now Keria and Deft has a world title. Dr. Faker Strange, what a GOD. Truly the GOAT.

Such a dominant performance. BRAVO! What a great finals from Zeus, well-deserved Finals MVP. What a backbone for T1 he is. It seemed like he had an answer for everything the enemy threw at him the entire tournament. If there was an MVP award for Overall tournament performance, I would definitely consider Oner. His glow up back to form was incredible to witness. Faker the GOAT! Cementing himself once again as the best midlaner to ever touch this game. Proving the doubters wrong and showing that not only was he the best 10 years ago, but has the longevity to be the best today. The most satisfying thing was Faker returning the flash ult onto Ruler to win the game and put JDG on the chopping block. Guma, whiledidn't really get to put on his carry pants for finals (Zeus and Oner wanted to go home early I guess) he still kept his promises to the world and demolished JDG Ruler. Keria defining the meta mid-tournament and after BLG / LNG series, it felt like he made it impossible for opponents to even think about winning draft phase. Such an outstanding player with outstanding mechanics. I wish he could get his Lux skin, but I guess he'll have to settle for Bard lol. Bravo T1!!!!!!

Faker's 'World's' Champion Abilities: Passive: 'Ryu Slayer'/'LPL Slayer' - When Only One Enemy Champion is nearby, 10% of damage is converted to true damage. When 2 enemy champions are nearby this damage is converted to magic damage instead. +5% magic damage for each additional champion. Colliding with an enemy champion while stealthed deals 8% of that champs max hp as magic damage once you leave stealth. (5 second cd.) Q: 'Fake R' Champion stealth's for 1 second, at the end of it's duration or if recast: fires a short range projectile dealing damage and slowing enemy champions. 50% of cd is refunded if this ability hits an enemy champion. W: 'Legends Never Die' Dash in a straight line dealing damage. If you are in stealth while this dash is cast - this ability deals additional damage. This ability does additional damage to lower HP targets. E: 'Demon King' The Champion executes a roll in the direction of the cursor. Any damage or cc affects received during the roll are reflected back to it's source. (Because one does not simply interrupt the King's roll.) R: 'Higher APM'(Action Per Minute) 'The Champion for stealth's for 1.5 second. Upon Recast: Enemy Champions near the champion are dealt % max HP magic damage and receive the Debuff 'APM Diff': When an enemy champion casts an ability, they are silenced for 0.75 seconds. Debuff 3 seconds. As you can see the champion is an absolute ballistic nightmare with stealth/true damage/multiple dashes/silences. So should be a fairly normal Champ in 2023. Ggwp SKT.
