I used to really like your content, but the clickbait titles are a huge put-off. I know one person unsubbing makes zero difference, but I think honest feedback from people who used to engage with your content is valuable.

I totally appreciate the feedback and every sub counts.I feel like we have a great community here so I dont want anyone to ever feel like their sub & time doesn't matter. I did an experiment a couple months ago for a month. I posted videos with very basic thumbnails and titles that were right on the nose(what some people say they think are better). All the videos were my worst performing videos in years. On youtube as your videos perform worse and worse youtube recommends your videos less and less and in turn makes them perform even worse. So creators are at a crossroads. Do we spend days working on content give it a basic title and thumbnail and watch it perform poorly or spend time think of titles and thumbnails that will get more clicks. I promise you none of us creators want to spend days thinking of titles and thumbnails. I would love to just call it what it is but the hard truth is NOBODY watches it when you do that. So sadly we are stuck in this cycle. Thankfully there are a lot of people who understand we are just doing what we have to do.

What am I missing? Everyone is complaining about the "clickbait title" but I'm not seeing it. "Will Fender Regret This?" He then goes on the talk about this Charvel Super-Stock being awesome but it's such a limited run. As of my writing this comment it's already sold out at Sweetwater. Do people not realize that Fender owns Charvel? Fender made the decision to only make a few hundred (I believe I heard 500) and now they're gone. How is that a clickbait title? I'm not throwing shade at other commentors I just don't get the hate.

I would've 100% wanted to buy this if it weren't for the Kramer Baretta Special. That kramer and this Charvel are almost like the same guitar, just one is owned by Gibson, other Fender, and then one is a lot cheaper with the downside of a single-color paint job and worse parts. I bought myself a purple Kramer Baretta Special, did the Eddie treatment and now have an amazing "Van Halen inspired" axe for under $300.

No. The last thing they want is a bunch of "80s" Charvels sitting in the warehouse. That said, it is a very cool guitar. It ROCKS and I did immediately look at Sweetwater to confirm that their last 2 were already gone. GC/MF have it though. Thought about trading for one of those, but really I'm good with the Charvel, Jackson, and Music Man Axis guitars that I already have. Super Strats are awesome. I’ve been wondering about the black fingers too. It’s either the strings or the fret wire. I’m wondering if this has nickel or stainless frets. I have an EVH that does not give me this problem with the same strings, but my EBMM does. I *think* it’s the stainless frets, but I wouldn’t expect this to have them, so I am at a loss again.

As a charvel guy I don’t understand why they go out of their way not to build the guitar people want? Tiger stripes are very cliche. Honestly if this guitar was a solid color preferably with black hardware I’d already own one, and I have more than one original model 1’s. And it’s not just Charvels some of the best spec’d Kramers have graphics not everyone wants tiger stripes or hot dogs on our guitar. Don’t get me wrong I have artist guitars skulls, relic, etc but this isn’t even a halfway artist guitar it just really looks like what somebody looking at too much social media thinks gen x wants and as far as it being a limited run that hits a little different for those of us that bought the Henrik guitar early and thought we had something special. Don’t get me wrong it’s an awesome guitar and I’m not about snobbery but feeling a little like you got in on something special just to have it repoped to the point it’s almost a meme is a little disappointing. I have trust issues with Charvel now lol

The strings are old. Put on at factory, been played, shipped, going through temp changes. Then if in store, everyone playing leaving sweat from fingers on them. I always put new strings on new guitar's. If I'm buying a new guitar I'll request them to put new strings on so I can really hear the true tone of the guitar. I might even ask them to adjust the neck and pickups. But, I I only do this on expensive guitars that I'm serious about purchasing.

I wouldn't say ALL new guitars have dirty corroded strings, or dyed fretboards. But yeah, cheap strings corrode when they sit. And mass production guitars usually don't get a thorough wipedown of the fretboard. So between the crusty stings and barely wiped off stain. That's what you get. Black fingers. Peace!

I've been shouting this for years about the headstock. Yeah, the big boys had the fender headstock chavels, but us normal consumers had the model 1-4 and the numbered series. The majority of ppl who owned charvels all had pointy headstocks! Secondly, they need to re-release a budget model 1 with the pointy headstock and basic strat trem and 1 pickup for like 4-500 dollars and make it classic vibe quality.

For the spring sound, I went to a craft store and bought some of that foam for it. It's almsot like sheets of memory foam. Usually 2 sheets and they're like an inch or inch and a half thick. I cut strips and put between the springs. It gets rid of that sound. I also cut a strip and put it behind the nut if there's that resonate string sound past the nut. Cheap and effective.

Even if Fender discontinues this, I would imagine that the Kramer Baretta reissues from Gibson are pretty similar, and even some of the EVH lines that Fender has, though I am not a shredder guitar player. Of course, they all come equipped with the Floyd Rose standard, and that might be a real issue, as you pointed out in the review. I don't know if this is in fact true, but I have read that the solvents used to rinse strings are pretty toxic to the environment, though I don't know that for sure.

I love the idea of this, but the lack of a Floyd Rose is a dealbreaker for me. We all know that this guitar is going to appeal to the fans of a certain player who is not endorsing any FMIC products as far as I know, and they went to Floyd Roses pretty much as early as possible, leaving vintage six-point tremolos as a rare second option.

The black is oxidation from the strings and frets. From the time they install the strings at the factory until you take your awesome new guitar home, it has probably been weeks or months, as well as the guitar going through several different "climates". All the while, those original strings are sitting there getting grimey. Out of the box, we should at least, wipe them down, and at best change them.

TBH and even if nobody cares, I get tired of your clickbait videol titles that are irrelevant with your sayings. It's really annoying. about the review ... I love old charvels and I love old superstrats in general and I can't get why somebody would praise a guitar sold the same price as the other same-level charvels, but with LESS features. Fender saves two pickups, a bunch of electronics, locking trem, hours of setup and assembling, and still sells this for 1100€ and people are like "woooow this is so great" because of a pointy headstock and some stripes ? Plus as some people already said, Tilt headstock + no string retainer + traditional nut is nothing to be done. If you ain't already got tuning issues, just wait for it to happen.

Fender should revive the old Charvel Surfcaster line, those were awesome (I had the 12-string and I wish I never sold it).

What Fender Should regret is abandoning Lefty players. Fender designs are vast and wide.. unless you are left handed. We continue to be the red headed step child of the guitar industry.

I think, personally, more than the pointy headstock, which is cool indeed, the toothpaste logo is more exciting on the fender headstock!!

Click bait is really getting old. Are you a musician creator or the other way around. Video is fine no need to add any fake drama.

Beautiful guitar but it has a fatal flaw that’s also a pet peeve of mine. A trem bridge without a locking nut is almost useless.

How much blacker can your fingertips be? The answer is none-so-black.
