Gas Mokney Garage knocked it out of the park with this build. 🏁🏁 It's cool to be living in the present time to see builders to not be scared to branch out and build something that catches the eyes of both the consumer and original manufacturer. (and maybe slightly make them mad) My only question is when will Tesla come out with a "supercar" and when will Ferrari send a cease and desist? Find on the next episode. 🏁🏁

Once you buy the car, I’m not so sure Ferrari cares. I think they’re more concerned with protecting their trademark, copyright and any IP. You screw the with the logo, sure…..but u make a testarossa into a Tesla, no biggie. Car looks amazing. Gas monkey did a fantastic job.

@@zk9058 you dont "Buy" a ferrari. you are essentially "leasing it" any "Unauthorized changes" to a Ferrari will result in a few letters of a cease and desist letters, and in extreme cases the vin completly removed from the ferrari database and ferrari denying or even aknowleding a car that WAS a ferrari still a ferrari.

I was trying to think what this reminded me of, then I walked into my 2 year old sons bedroom and saw his Ferrari toddler bed which is basically a Ferrari outline with a massive hole in the middle where the mattress sits and no roof. At that point I realised where Richard got his inspiration from.

@@el.G. If people seriously think that the Trillion dollar oil/fuel industry is going to let EV's replace combustion cars, they are VERY much mistaken. Porsche is working on a new fuel and we already have LPG and E85. What I do see happening is all cars becoming HYBRIDS. That allows electric zero emissions around towns and cities and on long journeys, petrol/diesel engines taking the rest with existing petrol stations in place.

I like this ALoT! Windscreen would be not drawback. Lights can be done with led tech, so it won't be nessesery in bumper, Imho. And rosso corsa. But for SEMA build... Perfect.

Looks ok, the fairings above the doors look completely out of place and borderline stupid the lack of a windscreen makes it look like a little tykes child bed, no windscreen also creates a huge parachute effect with the rear window and hoop.

Corolla was absolutely nuts! Love that they kept the 4age, and the original badging on the timing cover was a nice touch! Love the period styled seats too. Not sure how i feel about the exhaust tip. Wheels are a bit much for me too. Love the paint!

Yep Tesla has supported lots of events with modified cars and even sent techs to work on race cars. But modifying Ferrari's branding on that car is just a legal minefield. Trademark holders need to defend their property for it to be active, especially ones as ancient (for a TM) as Ferrari. Richard is intentionally baiting Ferrari's lawyers here.

The Gas Monkey Ferrari looks amazing Richard is always one to go as far as he can. The EBC Toyota Corolla looked wicked but the crowd I think had no taste. Tavarish Has a great project to continue and I will be watching. I have seen Mat Armstrong's car and it is ace, TJ Hunt has a good 3 on offer, Tommy Fyeah has TJ's Skyline and another on display and they are insane. B is for Build again has done well with their Pony car and the last one you showed was cool but the interior was like looking in a blood bath.

figures he does all that work on the car and he keeps literally the worst part of it, the part that dates it and ruins it, the front bumper, like if your gonna do that, do like that guy in sinapore and put a 512M bumper on it, also theirs alot he says there that I dont agree with but I dont want to say what I know to the contrary as I dont want to jack up the price, the rims do work however, like that, with a proper TR, drop the idiot box out the back, put the V12 back in where it belongs put the roof back on, the 512m Front, and those rims, would probably work pretty well. also if you want to save the world, dont go EV, get my old car, as my old car was getting prius gas mileage as I drove it like a ferrari and as I found out from Jarred, apparently it had the same horsepower as that ferrari V8 with its inline 5 that freddie drove in car trek lol like get a 2.5 inline 5 and enjoy, I was getting 340 miles on a tank with one quarter left with 26 miles city on 89 octane, no hybrid, no nothing and the only thing I wore out were the shocks and the brakes, and it had the same power as the 308
