I love you both, such a wonderful couple. In my long life I have never had a kind or understanding relationship. I am really frugal, I have No car, just use the free bus. I never waste food or energy. I have saved enough over 2 years, and have paid for a new bathroom suite. I have had a shower put in, no bath now because I can't use a bath anymore, I've had a new toilet and sink as well. Really pleased with it. Yes 2 years of savings have paid cash for it.😊😊 I need to to save now for a new front door next. ❤

You're doing really great! I'm like you and don't have a car. People are always surprised when I tell them I don't have a car, which I find bizarre! Our society is too car centric. I do a big shop once a month and get a taxi home with all the shopping. I'd rather pay £6-8 for a taxi rather than all the mega costs associated with a car. I'm in the process of doing up my bathroom too and bought the sink etc bit by bit and used vouchers, special offers and Topcashback to get the prices down. Its taken me about 2 years too, so no debt or borrowing to get it all!!!

We have our freezers stocked for the rest of this winter. I know you guys are not meat eaters but for us this saves tons of money by not having to grocery shop more than once a month!!

My mother is an investor since 30 years or so, she only lost big once. She has a lifestyle that my family will never have. But you need to be build to take a punch. I'm not, I prefer slow and steady and also not impressive results. I only started around 2 years ago and I'm so happy with my progress. I am extremely pleased than my growing sons are starting to understand the difference between wants and needs that Larry mentioned. It's very valuable life lesson that I didn't get and as much as I'm grateful for all the things and experiences my mother offered to me and my brother, I realise now we have been feeling lost without this core knowledge "what is really what I need". Frugality was the way out for me from always feeling like "I need" more.

I discovered an easy switch at the grocery store that is saving us money. We buy 3 bags of Aldi’s riced cauliflower each week. A few weeks ago they were sold out and heads of cauliflower were on sale so I bought two. We actually got 3 times the amount from one head as we were getting in the bags of frozen cauliflower for the same price!

Being frugual doesn't make you rich it helps prioritise your needs and wants

Frugality might not make you rich with money, but frugality can help you focus your spending and that will help you make your life rich with what matters.

Being frugal gives you enough cash flow to build wealth. Frugality can give you a higher standard of every day spending life. Frugality can give you a big enough "puddle" of money to buy more individually expensive items; in turn this can save money as well.

I actually have money in my savings account again in just a couple of months. Zero balance budgeting and meal planning (along with staying home not eating out) have been game changers.

Our thing is going out to restaurants!! We have a serious budget written. We ARE doing better, however we backslide now & then. In addition we are getting better at evaluating and sometimes we do talk ourselves out of eating out quite a bit these days!! We love your channel and watch it together!

Great Video! Frugality gives me peace of mind! Absolutely priceless! Having an emergency fund is the best feeling ever. I'm still working on building it up but at least now I have a buffer if things go inevitably wrong.

We have a larder (fridge, freezer, pantry, food and other) which contains mostly items purchased at good to excellent prices. Some were purchased at the best-ish price at the time but in enough quantity "to last a year" as a part of our current larder approach of "inflation fighting". We are doing this with tp, shampoo, cream rinse, toothpaste, contractor garbage bags, and a number of our cleaning supplies. And then we dont overly replentish until things are prett well used up. That is, unless we come across a super sale or clearance for these things. We are currently saving between 10% and 500% on the items in our larder.
