I don't think that the that the original idea was that the character of Karen and Jack would be the contrasting couple to Will and Grace. Will & Grace being the more conservative, saner, and and somewhat mundane couple contrasted against the outrageous care free insanity of Karen and Jack. But it works so so well and added such a cohesive strength of what made the series so unbelievably hilarious.

What's crazy about this is when Megan says she doesn't have any money so went to the thrift shop. She's a multi-millionaire now. So many actors don't make it. Megan is very talented and so glad she made it.

Karen is by far the most iconic, most powerful character on TV from the late 1990’s to date(2023) the immense amount of very talented actors, the main four,Rosario, Beverly Leslie and the many many gigantic geniuses make this amazing show one of the most important in TV history!!!

I'm surprised that they were able to talk Megan into coming back and doing a relaunch seeing as how she & Debra Messing didn't get along during the first show. I read an article that stated they grated on each other's nerves and didn't get along and that Debra was jealous of Megan. They were both nominated for Emmy awards and Megan won 2 but Debra won only 1, but Debra was nominated for more Golden Globes than Megan although neither of them won a GG award. It's these comments here that goes to prove why Debra might have been so jealous of Megan if that was a true statement - everybody liked Karen & Jack better but the 2 main characters were supposed to be Debra & Eric's characters. I found Debra's character to be annoying and Eric's to be snobby and annoying, but I LOVED Karen & Jack. I also loved Beverly Leslie played by Leslie Jordan, may he RIP. I didn't watch any of the relaunch.

All the other characters are pretty much there to provide context for Karen, there would hardly be any show to watch without her in it, and for the most part it’s because the wonderful Megan brought her to life the way she did.
