Damn!!!!! He sounds exactly as dope as he did when I went to shows at Cattle Club and Bojangles in Sac in the 90's. People used to ask me if i liked this genre...uhh...no i just fucking love Will Haven, thats it They are their own thing. I was a junglist breakdancing kid who liked trad metal and some east coast hardcore back then. But the very first time i saw them, with his barefoot ass, that was it!!!! The music is imcredible and he is the most underrated lead singer ever, best kept secret in my opinion!!! I was changed at their shows man. Im so happy to find this!!!!

Yes. Been a fan since WHVN. Apparently, they were "too metal for the hardcore kids and too hardcore for the metal kids"... Not for me...and I vibed with both and sundry. 'El Diablo' crushed me and I used it for a downturned/effect-driven guitar yardstick EVER SINCE. Jeff's FX driven chaos and Grady's potent poetry hit me SOOOOO hard...and still does. PLUS-TIming Signatures.. :-D

I don't know if any of the band reads these comments but I remember when you guys played Lodi high back in the late 90s, with Jonah from far doing onelinedrawing,and playing Deftones covers all night with the R2-D2 drum machine .. as a matter of fact chino from the deftones was in the crowd that night..... This is literally at my high school in Lodi California.... I will never know who the fuck got them, and Jonah mantra from far, to do this show, at a local high school but they definitely did it... I was there and it 100% happened... I even remember the school newspaper wrote an article about willhaven showing up.... I might even have that newspaper stashed somewhere in my attic

One of the only heavy bands ever to play in a genre they created for themselves. I remember when they hit the scene and the press was like... um, yeah, they are numetal, cos the press has to label everything and got worried cos they couldnt label Will Haven. They were so wrong!!! Thankfully the band seems to have shed that label but not enough people still listen to them! Thankfully they have a small but very solid fanbase. Best live band you'll ever see!

True story when I was about 13 years old I went to a local show in Lodi California at the senior center with couple of my little Idiot friends,as the bands were setting their equipment on stage there was some guy messing with the speakers ,the microphone and the FX pedals, the guy looked f****** homeless with no shoes on , we figured he was one of the Roadies my buddy asked him ,cuz we had heard how great Will Haven was, if the other bands were good and if Will Haven was as good as everyone was saying,he responded they're okay, I s*** you not about 1 minute later that man still standing in the crowd plugs in his mic and starts if she could speak in the middle of the mosh pit , it was Grady he played the whole song still standing in the crowd, I will never forget that, I would have already been a fan the second I heard his music but him telling us that will haven is okay and then and then tearing the f****** house down a minute later, still in the crowd with us kids was amazing , to this day will Haven is in my opinion the best heavy band of all time.... BTW this was honestly probably around 1997 1998.... Whatever year whvn came out it was a brand new album at the time... Definitely late 90s early 2000s
