Auntie’s comments about “church” caught my attention. She felt strongly that her niece should be in a building with a male pastor. I’ve been saved so long - one of the things I’ve noticed over time is that lots of “religious” people feel this way - if you aren’t in a building with a pastor and a “organized” (as in organized religion) way of doing things, you really aren’t in church. They totally miss the biblical point that the church is us - the body of believers. The church can meet in a house, library or coffee shop, as long as they are gathered in His name for true fellowship.

I personally prefer the small fellowships that meet in libraries, homes, etc - I’ve experienced so much church hurt and fake fellowship - enough to last a lifetime.
