Will I make it through this infuriatingly dense forest before dark? [ENGLAND PART 4]

Day 3 of my most odds defying mission to date is under way and massive lake crossing aside it's a case of rinse and repeat; 11 more miles of dense, tormenting pine plantations to be completed before the disastrous descent of darkness. This time we do have more moorland to break things up along with better weather, but the trees, both vertical and horizontal, would do their very best to slow me down and drive me insane.
Next weekend will be a break weekend. An early baby arrival meant that I didn't get quite as much work done as I'd planned and because I don't want to compromise on quality, I need an extra week to get the next episode up to standard. E5 will hit your screens on the 30th of June (29th for Patreons)
Some speech might be difficult to hear - use good speakers/headphones if possible and use the man made subtitles

I can't accurately describe how grateful I am for this amazing content, you're the only channel I wait on. As a land surveyor it's so familiar, and I love your channel and personality. Congratulations on becoming a dad, please don't let it stop you from doing this, your kids will be inspired 👍

Watching your videos has successfully inspired me, on the second week of the summer holidays my mates and I are journeying through a LONG route I've plotted from Milton Keynes to St. Albans taking (hopefully) 9 days. This is preparation for a big challenge we are prepping for in three years, a walk from the base to the top of the UK. PS; i love your videos

Tom, this is the best long form adventure content you’ve posted since Whales #1 in my opinion! The sheer length of this adventure and the consistent weekly upload schedule makes this feel like a real TV show we all tune back into each week! Truly, this is of the best content KZbin has to offer! Keep it up, mate!

Hopefully everything goes well with the baby Tom, it's so good being able to watch these straight line videos and I love them a lot. No worries about the break next week as I know that it is really tough with juggling the baby and editing but I can't wait for 2 weeks time. Keep up the great work.

For those who don't have any experience walking in wet woods.. you can't assume any step. A log with bark may strip away under pressure, a log without bark may have completely different characteristics from the previous log that gave you basic traction. You're gambling on every step that's necessary for supporting your weight.
