It's too bad that you couldn't have both the Amex Green and the Amex Gold. I always thought the Amex Green compliments the Amex Gold, because the Amex Green gives lounge access and airport security which the Amex Gold doesn't offer. The Amex Green with the Amex Gold would be a good setup for people who don't want the Amex Platinum.

Thanks for sharing your legit thoughts, feelings, and opinions (and NOT reading the websites, LOL). I only got 60k SUB on my gold, and I was elated to get that after being in pop-up jail for years. Try it out, get the points, create the content, keep or cancel. It's your life and your money. For now, I'm digging the coupons and the offers. This card has the most lemmings out there. I got the Rose Gold version. I have the traditional Gold and White Gold (changed Card designs). Good for collection. May downgrade back to green next year. Couldn't pass up upgrade points with easy spend. Take care bro😊

I recently downgraded to back to Green after upgrading a year ago. The credits were annoying. I did use them, but the fatigue set in quickly. Now with the Gold increase a month ago, I have no use for Resy and with the Uber Eats, GrubHub credit and Dunkin, my effective fee would be $1. I would use $324 in credits the whole year. Since its just me and I'm not married nor have children, I'm better off with the Everyday for supermarkets, the Blue Business Plus for everything else and when I cross the $6k cap on the Everyday for the rest of the year and the Amex Green for dining, travel and transit.

I still think for groceries the EDP is a more solid card because I don’t think as many people send as much at pure grocery stores in a year as they think they do haha. I use Resy restaurants a lot and prefer sandwiches at dunkin, so they were basically making a card for me. I’ll try it out for a bit and see how I feel. But honestly I am already missing my green with those 3x categories 🥲. Thanks for tuning in fam 👌🏿

Good Video. Ya as long as you are happy with the card who cares what sub you got. No one will ever get all the best subs on every card. I ended up product change my OG Freedom to the CSP & foregoing the SUB, nor any upgrade offers. Why? Because i was under contract for a new construction build of our dream home couldn’t open any new accounts, but i wanted access to chase transfer partners & the CSP travel benefits. I have enjoyed the card & have ZERO regrets! In your case you could probably downgrade back to the Green card then apply for it as a new account & i bet you would be eligible for the SUB if you want.
