That's why i had to mention the damage reduction. Their base damage is actually pretty good, not on par with rexes, but you could actually sacrifice some hp to put more points into damage without being at risk if you want.

You can add the Discovery mod to asa servers and get the ase equivalent of the deinon.. BUT the asa version of course will be much better when it comes out.. ❤

It's definitely not a fast fight, but it's a fight that is pretty much impossible to lose. You could actually sacrifice some more health for extra damage, as none of my fasola's lost more than 5k health. But I did have some top saddles.

Fasolasuchus is not, in fact, immune to torpor. It gets torpor both from manticore attacks and from friendly fire (for example if you hit it with a tranq arrow).

When I ran this test, none of my fasolas gained any torpor, whyle the yuty got KO. I haven't tried friendly fire.

@@Hobdookin his video only proved they were not hit by it. not that they are immune to it. what we have here is someone showing them take no torpor vs other people HAVING them take torpor. since you cant magically get torpor if you are immune to it the only logical thing is manticore missed him. which aint shocking its ai aim is trash. he was just lucky is all

This looks like it is to compete as the PvE version of the ATV-Spino. Which is in my opinion the best dino to bridge the gab between PvP and PvE. You can use it for both and it just does the work.

Pretty poor in my opinion. I think their ability works better against saddles or armor. Not natural resistance, though I'd love for that to change.

I have been determined to make an army out of these guys since I first saw the official art. I love the various prehistoric crocodilomorphes, and the fact that they have such fantastic stats thrills me. Although with what a miserable experience it is to tame them, they better be good. I’m still taking my time on the island, so I spawn them in wild and tame them in the forest on the Western coast line (just because I’m spawning the man doesn’t mean I’m not going to work for it). I think I have it in me to tame maybe two or three more before I throw my hands up and accept whatever stats I have

Tbh it’s way better to bring only about like 3-5 faso’s and the rest are rexs because of the fasos armor stripping almost always being at max strength when attacked by at least 3 fasos

My issue is i get no progress when taming them, no matter how many rocks i hit, I’ve tried low levels and high levels, its not like its giving me very little, im simply not getting any, it also isn’t re setting the “kick off” meter when i hit things so it throws me off

Sounds like bugged out for you. I have a video in which i tamed one with no problems later today, but I haven't faced your issues.

The rocks ad very little amounts of torp, go for bones or salt nodes they give wayyy more. Tamed a 145 yesterday and it took probly over an hour just to knock out. Started with 30 grenades and finished with like 13-14. I would scout out around the area before starting so you have a plan and direction. If you hit anything that isn’t harvestable he will pop out and kick you off.

I know a really easy way to knock them out, you basically just follow a trail of salt crystal spots at the bottom of the map. I can give you coords if you need them

Tried to tame a 115 but it kept popping/glitching out of the ground when I would hit rocks and salt. It was mad annoying and knocked me off everytime. Think I used like 20 grenades just because of that

How tf does this game work? I just beat alpha manticore on default settings on day 35? With all rexes level 250 or so. 20-25k health and 400%+ damage. Used 1 lighting wyvern. Everyone had primitive saddles. Only 1 red died cause I shot lightning at him. But it was an easy fight. How is everyone 35k+ health dealing 900% damage in these videos wtf

The manticore can't do torpor damags to the Fasolasuchus because it doesn't get torpor the normal way, only by smashing it into things Edit: my bad, turns out It does get affected by torpor attacks...

Fasalo isnt immune too torpor.. and even tho you where able to beat the boss, and was I, with just fasalo army.. many many ppl are not successful with fasalo, and is much easier to beat with rex army or even procop and good shotgun.. both much easier to tame then fasalo aswell.. my 2 cents for what its worth.. goodluck everyone❤

Manticore is the easiest boss. Run them against island bosses

its melee is low, its attack speed is bad, and it doesn't have a special attack with higher scaling like shadowmane, its health isn't as impressive as Rex, can it boss? yeah...does it worth breeding in pve? don't think so....

Indeed, it is a more PvP specialised dino, put i think it's a decent travel mount, and some people are tired of using the main boss fighters. That's the whole point of this series.

wyverns are surprisingly some of the worst creatures to use due to how easy they are to knock out and how the manticore ai changes due to there being flyers
