Yet Timo pull's off yet another excellent repair of the compressed area of the hull. Well done mr fix it 💥 Oh I loved the selection of Timo's latest fashion accessories. The platic carrier bag for wet weather. 💦 🌧

That’s nice work. It is noteworthy that you overcame your frustration with the boatyard to design and execute the remedy to the hull compression.

The patch should be plenty strong enough. Keep an eye on it to make sure that hull flex doesn't cause any delamination. The fact that it is directly under a bulkhead should make flex pretty much zero though.

The curve of the hull is an arc, not a straight line. You probably have to make the layup to the arc.
@SailingNV8 сағат бұрын
Yes true, do you mean the curve from the bow to stern? If so, this portion is so small it’s ok if it’s straight. The curve perpendicular to this remained curved in our repair

Why is it so hard to use protective gloves when working with epoxy? Not saying it because I want to be annoying, but because it is just not good for your skin to be in contact with epoxy like that...
@SailingNV21 сағат бұрын
I (Jo) know I tell timo all the time but he insists that he’s not in contact with the epoxy and manages to do such a clean job that he doesn’t need them, at least not for tho is job… he always breaks them and can’t find them, but I’m with you he needs to be more careful 👍🏻🙏

@@SailingNV click bait and silly thumbnails have begun to ruin youtube so i have no tolerance for them any longer. I figure if you need either of those to attract viewers then your content is not good enough to warrant watching it. In general most channels have lost my viewing because im not interestd in your ( not you specifically ) middle aged wifes ass, i can find much better anywhere else online so show me good sailing/boat life content or pack it up and go home. Just because you think your wifes ass/tits are great doesnt mean others do, again not aimed at you but 90% of sailing channels are relying on their wife's assets to bring in the viewers and money. They need a seperate only fans and stick to sailing/boat life on you tube. If they go only fans they will quickly realize there wife may be youtube sailing hot but not real world hot. It would be a funny documentary to make.

How’s your Italian?
@franksailj283 сағат бұрын
Chaising latitudes has only one perspective. Buy a new boat from 2015 or better. That’s not the only way you can go crusing. He recently delivered a boat and the mast came down on one of his perfect new boats. He doesn’t have all the answers. He is just a hater trying to get people to sign up for his boat purchasing class. He doesn’t know everything and is wrong sometimes. This is a special boat and a family on a budget. It’s not perfect but they are out there cruising on a pretty amazing boat. I give them credit and this guy is a craftsman who knows how to fix things so it works for him. Maybe it wouldn’t work for you but that’s ok.
