I think garbage disposals are literally to help prevent drains being blocked over time by small food debris, not to push down meats and poultry which are full of fat that can easily clog the drain

I put whole carcasses in mine, takes tea bags and everything. Doesn't like avocado stones for some reason. Great investment

It's absolutely fine, mine takes the whole carcass, tea bags, avocado stones . Haven't had any issues and my pipes are fine

These ones don't have actual blades in that initial part of the chamber, I have one.. its more like a spinning disk then the actual blades are in a lower part
