Mitch did a heck of a job wheeling that Bronco that day. Too bad you have to edit it down because there was a heck of a lot of great video taken by all of us and even some spectators in SXS were impressed. Being in the classic group yes we were impressed.

The stock Badlands is a formidable platform. We did some impressive things with them in NH at the Offrodeo. Glad to see the 33's get some love here. A Badlands on 33s has more wheel travel than a Sasquatch. A Sassy has more clearance. A Badlands on 33s rips backroads harder and handles better. Tradeoffs.

Definitely the toughest trail I’ve been on in the new Bronco! Handled like a champ though and left classic Bronco owners speechless!🤘🏽

Watching this ,....just made my decision easier. Was at the dealer yesterday, spec'd out a 2 door 2.7 Badlands. Heard that you don't get full suspension travel with Sasquatch., ...but get basically same suspension with 33's. in Badlands with sway bar disconnect and both lockers. GONNA SUBMIT MY ORDER . Saving 5,000 by not getting Sasquatch.

Awesome video and results. FYI I dropped by my local Southern California Ford dealer. They marked up a hard top two door with Sasquatch package by $25.000 to $80k sale price. The 4 door soft top non Sasquatch was marked up by $20,000 to $58k. HUH? 😮
@imagin9163 жыл бұрын
They are all being marked up that much, unless budget is unlimited I would just wait a year or two when there are so many being made you can grab a slightly used one for a good price or at least MSRP on a new one.

I love this series great job guys but I feel like the video could be better. The angles of the footage make it hard to see the Bronco conquering or failing at an obstacle. Logan King with his GX470, now that is beautiful and amazing footage with all the right angles. Maybe if you brought along another Bronco or another chase and lead vehicle you could get better driving footage as well. Just a thought, love the work love seeing it, thank you so much for the content

Thanks so much for making these videos using a nonsquatch bronco. With all the sasquatch videos out there, it's nice to see a Badlands on 33's kicking butt up those rocks. Makes me feel great about my nonsquatch Badlands order.

You could have tipped over a LOT more before it would have rolled. We did something at the Nevada off-roadeo that had it tipped over 26 degrees and it had no issues staying upright.

Hmm...now you have the wheels spinning. The only part I'd be worried about is the drop right around the end of the trail. I took my classic Bronco through and remember it feeling pretty iffy haha

I’m not sure when you use front lockers or rear lockers or both?
@wildhorses4x43 жыл бұрын
It all depends on the situation. It's hard to explain in a text box over KZbin but essentially, you want to use lockers when you are climbing over obstacles that may cause you to break traction. Generally, climbing over larger obstacles causes that break in traction. The rule of thumb is you can run a rear locker with or without engaging the front but normally you won't run a front locker without engaging the rear locker. Although there are some situations where you may want to, that is a little more advanced. The whole locker concept can seem a bit daunting but it's pretty easy to get the hang of once you off-road with a few experienced rock crawlers.

What settings would you use with a base bronco since it doesn’t have rock crawl mode?
@davidliebmann42903 жыл бұрын
Go for 4L and try Sand on the GOAT Mode dial. If you have Sasquatch, put your lockers to use if your tires lose grip.
@joecaughey3 жыл бұрын
Probably “slippery”, as that will make traction control as sensitive as possible. Trying to stop wheel spin at its first indication. Sand will let the wheels spin more (from my understanding) then slippery as it is trying to limit TC from preventing the bronco from digging it’s way out of a hole.
@F2FTech3 жыл бұрын
No need for the goat mode. Just put it in 4L and engage the front and rear lockers if you have the sas package

Real question- what if you roll a vehicle you're still making payments on? Will your insurance cover that? I've only ever off-roaded shitty little beaters that only cost a few grand to start with.

Insurance won’t pay for off road damage unless you take a specific policy covering that.
