I think there's more than one type of patina look. Your bus tells a story. The yellow flames on the passenger door, auto logo's on the tailgate, part yellow, and part turkis - that works for me and makes this bus a lot of fun to look at.

If the seller was a VW guy, this is shameful. A bore scope may of helped diagnose the problem prior to strip down. Keep the videos going as they are enjoyable to watch. 💪🏼🇬🇧

Tried a scope, but mine does not have a 90° camera. All that debris you see for a quick second in the combustion change has compacted flat against the head. Thanks for watching!

If you saw a 70’ single cab in pristine condition at Terryville Fairgrounds, I found it for the owner, Larry, in South Carolina. Between us, we have 5 single cabs……. Um Just Sayin, we do like those trucks. I mostly watch your channel preferred.

Great real-world video. The trials and tribulations of a used engine. Is that a 34 carb on that 1500?

Nah, 30 PICT 2. I’ll use that to get it running. If it runs good, I want to put a set of ICTs on it. Thanks for watching

@wickedwerks If the engine seller watches your channel, he should get in touch with you, and send you a refund. It's the right thing to do.

No one should pay more than $50 for a non running engine. Unless it has good bolt-on used parts on it.

Good luck with that

@@Brodiesbuses It just my opinion, and what I might pay, for a non-running type 1 or a type 4 engine. Seized engines, are not rare here in New England.
