My 95 has over 200,000 on it, the 5.0 was a good engine for a Mustang or Crown Vic but not a 4x4 truck. This one has always been especially doggy (my parents bought the truck with about 23,000 miles on it). Still runs like a top though! I remember the first time I noticed that canister under the hood that looks like it should have canned fruit in it- I think it's vacuum related?

I have a 91 with the 302 and absolutely love it. The previous owner of mine definitely took better care of it than this one :D. Glad to see ya'll working on another project!

I have to get the 580CK hauled to Jacksonville where I am, it needs a total re-hosing. Think looks like a fire boat with hydraulic fluid shooting everywhere.

I like those generation Ford F-series pickups. They were built from 1992 - 1997 except the F-150s & Broncos were finished in 1996. The limited edition Lightning pickups with that same body design were produced from 1993 - 1995. The Lightning was Ford's answer to the Chevy 454SS pickup which was introduced in 1990.

I love the truck. I have the same problem with the hood on my 96’. I replaced the latch mechanism, but it didn’t fix the issue. Now I don’t know what to do about it.
